I announced in the last lecture that you could bring
one 8.5 x 11 inch help sheet (one side) to the exam
(the same as was the case for the midterm).

Midterm's cheat sheet didn't have to be hand written. I would assume
the same for the final's

No they don't have to be hand written. However, they have to be one-sided.
